Chelsea 2024 - Matthew Childs Design

Chelsea 2024

At the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2024 the 'Bridge to 2030 garden’ for the Terrence Higgins Trust and sponsored by Project Giving Back attained a Silver-Gilt medal and ‘Best Construction’ award. The garden communicated a powerful message of inclusivivity and hope with the overiding aim being to break down the stigma surronding the HIV virus. To do this we designed a garden inspired by the slate landscapes of North Wales with a focus on resilient planting. Local provenance was integral to the design working with Welsh artisans and local suppliers to bring the garden to life.
